Frequently asked questions
Do I need a developer to take payments online?
Not for most setups. Hosted checkout pages, payment links and a Pay Now button can be configured without custom code. Custom applications can use the gateway API when you want a deeper integration.
Can online and in-store sales report together?
Yes. When both run under the same merchant account and platform, online orders appear alongside in-person sales in the same reporting instead of a separate system.
Is card data stored on my website?
With hosted checkout, card details are captured by the gateway and your site receives a token instead, which reduces the PCI scope you are responsible for.
Can I bill customers on a schedule?
Yes. Subscriptions, memberships and retainers can be billed on a recurring schedule against a tokenized card or bank account, with retry logic on failed attempts.
What about chargebacks on online orders?
Card-not-present orders carry more dispute risk, so we set up verification rules, clear descriptors and receipt practices, and we support you through evidence submission. Outcomes are decided by the issuing bank.
