Why we brought Bodega AI into the catalog
Most point of sale systems are built for restaurants first and everything else second. Convenience and corner stores end up working around software that was never designed for thousands of low-margin SKUs, tobacco programs, age-restricted sales and a counter that has to move fast at 7am and again at 11pm.
Bodega AI was built for that counter. It scans and sells without menu hunting, it reports on what is actually moving, and it speaks more than one language — which matters in a business where the owner, the night cashier and the weekend help may not share a first language.
Bodega AI POS was named 2025 Catapult AI Payments Innovator of the Year. We reviewed it against the systems we already place and decided it filled a real gap for our retail merchants.
What the Bodega AI POS does
The device is an all-in-one station with an integrated price scanner, so ringing a sale is a scan rather than a search. Around that sit the features that make it different from a register with a card reader bolted on:
Multilingual voice and text support
Staff can operate the register and reach help in the language they are most comfortable in, by voice or by text.
AI item and price suggestions
The system suggests which items to carry and how to price them based on your area, using sales data rather than guesswork.
Built-in dual pricing
Dual pricing is part of the platform and is configured to the disclosure and signage requirements that apply to your state and card network rules.
Tobacco scan data reporting
Supports Altria and RJRT scan data reporting, multi-pack and loyalty promotions, and automatic promotion and coupon handling at the register.
ID and license scanning
Age verification stays part of the normal checkout flow instead of a separate manual step.
Remote store management
A cloud dashboard lets you check sales, inventory and staff activity from anywhere, so you are not tied to the back office.
Who it is a fit for
Bodega AI is aimed at convenience stores, bodegas and delis, smoke shops, liquor stores, small grocery stores, dollar stores and pet supply shops. In practice, the best fit is a single location or small group with a high item count, thin margins and staff turnover — where consistent pricing and clear reporting do more for the business than extra menu features.
It is not the right answer for every business. Full-service restaurants, salons and service businesses are usually better served by the Clover, Valor or SUNMI systems we already place. Part of our job is telling you which one fits, and we would rather say so up front than sell you the wrong counter.
Limited-time: ask about a full POS at no equipment cost
Through December 31, 2026, new merchants who start a review with BSV Solution can ask about our POS placement program, where qualifying businesses are placed on a full point of sale system with no equipment cost.
This is an invitation to have your setup reviewed, not an approval. Eligibility is based on underwriting review and a qualifying processing agreement, availability may vary by state and business type, and terms and conditions apply. Pricing is always quoted individually based on business type and processing volume.
To start, send us a recent statement for a free review, or call and talk it through with a payments specialist. We will tell you what your current setup is doing, whether Bodega AI is the right POS for your store, and what a switch would involve.
How the process works
Nothing about this is instant, and we will not pretend otherwise. A typical path looks like this: you send a recent processing statement or tell us about the business; a specialist reviews it and recommends a POS and processing setup; if you move forward, an application goes to underwriting; once approved, we configure the POS for your inventory and train your staff before you go live.
Processor selection depends on underwriting and your business profile. BSV Solution works with leading processors and now partners with Bodega AI on hardware and software for retail counters.
Terminals and POS systems BSV installs
BSV Solution works with several manufacturers, so the right device depends on how you take payments — countertop, handheld, mobile or customer-facing. Availability varies by business profile and is subject to underwriting approval.

Frequently asked questions
Is BSV Solution a Bodega AI partner?
Yes. BSV Solution has a partner agreement with Bodega AI and offers the Bodega AI POS to businesses in our service areas. We do not own Bodega AI and do not claim exclusivity.
What kind of business is the Bodega AI POS for?
Convenience stores, bodegas, delis, smoke shops, liquor stores, small grocery stores, dollar stores and pet supply shops. Restaurants and service businesses are usually a better fit for the Clover, Valor or SUNMI systems we also place.
Does it support tobacco scan data programs?
It supports Altria and RJRT scan data reporting along with multi-pack and loyalty promotions and automatic promotion and coupon handling. Program participation and requirements are set by the manufacturers, not by BSV Solution.
Is the dual pricing feature compliant?
Dual pricing is built into the platform and is configured to the disclosure, signage and card network requirements that apply to your state and business. A specialist reviews the configuration with you before you go live.
How do I get the limited-time POS offer?
Request a consultation or call (424) 368-2851 before December 31, 2026 and ask about the POS placement program. Eligibility is based on underwriting review and a qualifying processing agreement, and availability may vary by state and business type.
Can I keep my current processor?
Possibly. It depends on the setup, the hardware and the agreements in place. A specialist can review your current statement and tell you what is portable and what is not before you decide anything.
