At the counter
Reports pull directly from register activity — every sale, refund, void, and tip is timestamped and tagged to an employee and register, so end-of-day totals reconcile against the actual drawer count instead of an estimate.
Hardware compatibility
Reporting is a software layer available on every Clover, PAX, and compatible device we place; no additional hardware is required, though a back-office computer or tablet makes reviewing detailed reports easier than scrolling on a countertop screen.
Connectivity and offline behavior
Report data syncs to the cloud whenever the device has connectivity; if a location goes offline, sales still record locally and reports catch up once the connection returns, so you are not locked out of same-day numbers indefinitely.
Staffing and training
Owners and managers typically need one session to learn the dashboard's date filters, export options, and alert setup; front-of-house staff generally don't need reporting access at all unless you choose to grant it.
Migrating your existing setup
Historical sales data from a prior POS usually stays in that system's own reporting; we don't fabricate historical reports for a new platform, but we can help you export what your old provider supports before cutover so you retain your records.
